Your voice

Your Voice is the place to share ideas, find support and to make a difference to not only your own life but sometimes city-wide too.  Your Voice is for young people with SEND and their parents and carers.

Leicester Parent Carer Forum

The Leicester Parent Carer Forum meets to help plan and shape city services that are important to parent carers and their children. Their involvement covers all cultures, communities and disability groups but you don’t have to be a committee member to benefit from what they do.

Big Mouth Forum

The Big Mouth Forum is for 11 to 24 year olds who meet each month to hear about activities and services that take place in the city. They also advise organisations offering activities and services on how to make themselves accessible to people with disabilities.

Advocacy groups

There are two types of advocacy that support 14 to 25 year olds with learning disabilities and difficulties; a self advocacy and a peer advocacy.

Mystery shopper scheme

Our Mystery Shopper Scheme provides an opportunity for you to get involved in developing the content and accessibility of our Leicester’s Send Local Offer.
