Disability access fund
All early years settings who provide funded early education places for three and four year olds are entitled to a one off payment of £858* per year for children in receipt of Disability Living Allowance.
The childcare provider is responsible for identifying eligible children through a discussion with parents.
This payment is there to support providers to make reasonable adjustments in order to meet the needs of children with special educational needs and disability (SEND) and could be spent on training and resources.
How to make an application
Applications are made online via the provider portal
